Day 01 HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH (30 KM/0.5 HR)

Please try to reach or start your tour before 08-09 AM to take full advantage of your first day. We pick you up from Haridwar railway stationin the morning and take you straight to Rishikesh via Haridwar. Allowing you 60 Mins for Har Ki Pauri and Mansa Devi by ropeway or you can skip Haridwar by witnessing Haridwar from the windows. Then you arrive in Rishikesh in the monring. Get check-in to the hotel and relax for a while. Day 03 RISHIKESH - RUDRAPRAYAG - GUPTKASHI (220 KM/10 HR)

Wake up, get refreshed and refuel yourself with a heavy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast checks out and proceeds to Guptkashi via Devprayag-Rudraprayag-Agastmuni. The route is long for today with serene views of the Garhwal Valleys and we drive opposite to the stream of the Ganges and Mandakini rivers. After leaving from Dehradun we follow the shore of Ganges river which leads us to Devprayag Sangam and we discover the serene Sangam of Alknanda and Bhagirathi forming into the Ganges at Devprayag.

From Devprayag we drive towards Rudraprayag which passes through Kirti Nagar and from here we drive opposite to Alaknada river upto Rudraprayag Sangam. Lunch can be planned at Srinagar before Rudraprayag. Investigate the divine confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini River at Rudraprayag Sangam and the river remains Alaknanda after the Sangam. Post exploration we follow Mandakini River which comes from Kedarnath to reach Guptkashi by witnessing Agastmuni and Kund from the windows. The evening arrives in Guptkashi/Phata, get check-in to the hotel. The evening enjoys nature/city walks around your hotel and is free for your leisure. Having dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi/Phata hotel.

Day 04 GUPTKASHI - GAURIKUND - KEDARNATH JI (21 KM TREK)

Wake up early and get refreshed. There are two mediums to reach the Kedarnath temple ie by road and by air. Please find the below details for both mediums.

By Road: If you are planning to reach the Kedarnath temple by road then your cab will take you to Sonprayag. In the high season (May/June) there is much rush on this road from Guptkashi to Sonprayag which has a distance of 30 km. Sometimes this distance takes more than 03 hours to reach Sonprayag.

So, leaving early from Guptkashi/Phata for Sonprayag will be a good idea. From Sonprayag you will need to take local cab for Gaurikund, which is 05 km ahead of Sonprayag. Gaurikund is the base for the Kedarnath trek. You can hire horses/doli/pitthu from Gaurikund for Kedarnath. It is a 21 km trek which takes around 8-10 hours to reach to the temple for a normal person. This breautiful treks gives breathtaking views of Garhwal Himalayas, tall waterfalls, and the trek goes along the shore of divine Mandakini river. The trek has many stalls, shops, and medical facillities along the route. Once you reach Kedarnath, get check-in into the hotel. Take some rest, explore Bheem Shila, Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi Sthal, Mandakini River and have darshan of Shri Kedarnath Ji on your own. Having dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Air: You can also choose to explore Kedarnath by Helicopter services. Helicopter services are time-saving and give you an amazing birds-eye view of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks behind the Kedarnath temple but requires an early and advance reservation. If you choose to access the Kedarnath temple by Heli services then the cab will take you to Helipad from where you will do all the formalities and will take off for Kedarnath. Once you reach Kedarnath, get check-in into the hotel. Take some rest, explore Bheem Shila, Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi Sthal, Mandakini River and have darshan of Shri Kedarnath Ji on your own. Having dinner and overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 05 KEDARNATH - GAURIKUND - CHOPTA (21KM TREK + 45 KM DRIVE)

Wake up early, get refreshed. Do the necessary shopping for the puja at Kedarnath temple. You can book a special pooja on additional charges. After having the Darshan of Lord Kedarthan and pooja ceremony back to the hotel. Pack your luggage and check out. Post check out have your hot breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Post check out treks down/fly down to Sonprayag/Guptkashi. From Sonpryag/Guptkashi board the cab and proceed to Chopta via Ukhimath. Investigate winter abode of Shri Kedarnath at the Omkareshwar Temple of Ukhimath. Post-exploration proceeds straight to Chopta, Chopta is about 75 km from Sonprayag which will take approx 3 hours to reach Chopta. En-route explores Omkareshwar Temple at Ukhimath and then straight to Chopta. The evening arrives, get check-in to the camps. The evening explores a beautiful sunset, enjoy home like dinner, and overnight stay at Chopta.

Day 06 CHOPTA - GOPESHWAR - JOSHIMATH - AULI (115 KM/05 HR)

Discover an amazing sunrise from snow-clad divine Himalayan peaks. Get refreshed and refuel yourself with a heavy breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast checks out at around 09 AM and takes you at the trek base for the Tungnath-Chandrashila trek. Pack a bag full of Biscuits, Namkeens, Dryfruits, Water bottles, and whatever you like to eat and drink during the trek. Follow the trek route yourself or hire a local guide for trekking from the base. The Tungnath temple is awarded as the highest Shiva Temple on the planet. Tungnath Temple (3680 meters) and Chandrashilla (Moon Rock) (4000 meters) peaks are accessible through a short six km trek which provides a natural pathway along with stunning panoramic views of Gangotri, Kedarnath, Satopanth, Chaukhambha, Kamet, and Trishul Himalayan peaks.

Post exploration returns back to the base and proceeds straight to Auli, via covering Gopinath temple at Gopeshwar and Narsingh Temple at Joshimath. First stop will be at Gopeshwar, allwoing you 20 mins for lunch and Gopinath Temple exploration and then the 2nd stopover will be at Narsingh Temple. Narsingh Temple of Joshimath is winter abode of Shri Badrinath Ji, while the Badrinath Dham remains closed for winters their Idol is brought to Narsingh Temple of Joshimath, allowing you 20 mins to explore. You can have Pooja, Darshan, and Blessings of Shri Badrinath at Narsingh Temple untill the Badrinath Dham remains closed for whole winters. Post exploration proceeds straight to Auli. The evening arrives, get check-in to the hotel and is free for your leisure. Auli gives you stunning panaromic views of Trishul, Nanda Devi, Trishul I, Hathi Parvat, Kamet, Saraswati Parvat I, and Neelkanth peaks. Day 08 AULI - RUDRAPRAYAG - HARIDWAR (280 KM/09 HR)

Wake up early, get refreshed, and have your hearty breakfast at the hotel and check out. Post check out the driver takes you to Haridwar for the drop and en-route explores epic Sangams. First Sangam on this route will be at Nandprayag Sangam where Nandakini dissolves in Alaknada, then you'll witness Karnprayag Sangam where Pindar river dissolves in Alaknanda and the river remains Alaknanda. The next Sangam will be Rudraprayag Sangam where Mandakini River dissolves in Alaknanda River and remains Alaknanda. You can plan your lunch at Rudraprayag.

  • Breakfast: Breakfast availability in the hotels totally depends on your morning departure timings. Packed breakfast will be available as earsly as 6 AM.
  • Dinner: Dinner availability in hotel totally depends on your arrival time.
  • Luggage: It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 liters as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
