SRINAGAR AIRPORT - GULMARG (58 KM/2 HR)
Pick up from Srinagar International airport and proceed to Srinagar for lunch. Post lunch proceeds straight to Gulmarg. Get check-in into the hotel and get refreshed. Gulmarg (The Switzerland of Asia, Meadow of Flowers, recently awarded as 7th Ski Resort of Asia) is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. The evening explores the surroundings and is free for your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Gulmarg.
SKIING AT GULMARG
Wake up, get refreshed, and have your hot breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast head to Gondola. (You may need to take a local conveyance at this route.) Pack some dry eatables and drinking water for your convenience. Enjoy skiing at Kongdoori Phase 1 and enjoy your day. Board the cable car and the evening return back to the hotel. Having dinner & overnight stay at Gulmarg.
GULMARG - SRINAGAR (50 KM/2 HR)
Wake up, get refreshed, and refuel yourself with a heavy breakfast. Board the cab and hit the road towards Srinagar. Arrive and get check-in into the hotel. Get refreshed and have your lunch either at the hotel or at the Srinagar market. The day investigates Srinagar, the pride of the beautiful valley of Kashmir famous for its lakes dotted with Shikaras and the Mughal Gardens, Chashmi-e Shahi (The Royal Spring), Nishat(The Garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), and world's famous Dal Lake. Lunch during the sightseeing. The evening returns back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
DAY TOUR TO PAHALGAM (88 KM/2 HR/SIDE)
After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the breadbasket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the Srinagar hotel. Chandanwari, located 15 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the famous Amarnath Yatra. It is also famous for the snow sledding on a snow bridge. The place is perfect to enjoy a picnic with your family and enjoy the natural beauty. Aru Valley is a small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam. It is the best place to visit for couples on a honeymoon tour. The drive up to the village is alluring too. The location of the village among the grasslands, make this place a tourist delight. It is reachable by walking along a mountain path. Return to Srinagar, having dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.
